PREempt™ CS20 is a Health Canada registered sterilant and high-level disinfectant designed for professional salon, spa, podiatry, and medical instruments. Suitable for professional stainless steel and hard plastic tools including:
Nail clippers, scissors, reusable foot files, cuticle pushers, tweezers, microblade handles, needle holders, and similar professional implements.

Note:
Do not use on soft metals such as nickel, brass, copper, carbon-tipped devices, or anodized aluminum.

High-Level Disinfection

High-level disinfection is recommended for semi-critical instruments that contact:

• Mucous membranes

• Non-intact skin

but do not penetrate sterile tissue or enter normally sterile body areas.

Typical applications include:

• Reusable foot files

• Nail clippers

• Cuticle pushers

• Tweezers for ingrown hairs

• Microblade handles

• Needle holders

Health Canada Approved Reuse Period

Health Canada approves PREempt™ CS20 for reuse up to 14 days, provided:

• The solution remains visually clean

• A 2% AHP Test Strip indicates a passing concentration

Replace the solution immediately if:

• The solution becomes visibly contaminated

• The test strip indicates failure

even if the 14-day period has not elapsed.

Directions for Use

Before Use

• Verify that instruments are compatible with PREempt™ CS20.

• Pre-clean, rinse, and dry all instruments thoroughly before immersion.

High-Level Disinfection

1. Pre-clean, rinse, and dry instruments.

2. Completely immerse in undiluted PREempt™ CS20.

3. Soak for at least 20 minutes.

4. Remove and rinse with sterile or potable tap water.

Sterilization

1. Pre-clean, rinse, and dry instruments.

2. Immerse completely in undiluted PREempt™ CS20.

3. Allow required sterilization contact time.

4. Remove and rinse thoroughly with sterile water.

Important

• Do NOT dilute the solution.

• Do NOT soak instruments overnight.

Reuse Guidelines

PREempt™ CS20 may be reused for up to 14 days, provided:

• A 2% AHP Test Strip confirms acceptable concentration.

• The solution remains clean and uncontaminated.

Always discard the solution if it becomes visibly soiled or fails the test strip, regardless of the remaining reuse period.
