PROFESSIONAL ELECTROMAGNETIC PELVIC FLOOR CHAIR

A New Approach to Pelvic Floor Muscle Training

Pelvic floor weakness can affect both women and men and may be associated with concerns such as bladder control, postpartum pelvic floor weakness and reduced pelvic floor muscle strength.

Traditional Kegel exercises can be effective, but many people have difficulty correctly identifying, activating or consistently training their pelvic floor muscles.

The Professional Electromagnetic Pelvic Floor Chair provides an advanced approach to pelvic floor muscle training.

Using high-intensity electromagnetic stimulation, the chair generates repeated pelvic floor muscle contractions while the client remains comfortably seated.

This allows professional practices to incorporate convenient, non-invasive pelvic floor muscle training into structured rehabilitation and wellness programs.

HOW DOES THE PELVIC FLOOR CHAIR WORK?

The system generates a focused electromagnetic field through the chair seat.

Electromagnetic energy penetrates through clothing and stimulates the motor neurons associated with the pelvic floor muscles, producing repeated muscle contractions.

These contractions provide intensive pelvic floor muscle stimulation without requiring the client to consciously perform traditional Kegel exercises throughout the session.

The technology provides a convenient option for professional pelvic floor muscle strengthening, Kegel training and pelvic floor rehabilitation programs.

The Client Simply:

SITS → RELAXES → TRAINS

There is no need to remove clothing, attach adhesive electrodes or use invasive applicators.

KEY APPLICATIONS

Urinary Incontinence & Bladder Control Programs

Pelvic floor muscle weakness is an important factor associated with certain types of urinary incontinence.

Strengthening and re-educating the pelvic floor muscles may therefore form part of professional programs designed to improve pelvic floor function and bladder control.

The electromagnetic pelvic floor chair provides intensive muscle stimulation without requiring traditional voluntary Kegel contractions throughout the session.

This makes it particularly attractive for professional urinary incontinence and pelvic floor rehabilitation programs.

Postpartum Pelvic Floor Recovery

Pregnancy and childbirth can place significant stress on the pelvic floor muscles.

For appropriate clients, pelvic floor muscle training may form an important part of a structured postpartum pelvic floor recovery and rehabilitation program.

The electromagnetic pelvic floor chair offers a convenient, non-invasive method of stimulating pelvic floor muscles while the client remains fully clothed and comfortably seated.

It can be incorporated by appropriately qualified professionals into postpartum programs focused on rebuilding pelvic floor muscle strength and function.

ADVANCED KEGEL TRAINING

Kegel exercises are commonly used to strengthen pelvic floor muscles.

The challenge is that many clients may:

• Have difficulty identifying the correct pelvic floor muscles

• Perform Kegel exercises incorrectly

• Have difficulty maintaining consistent contractions

• Forget to complete their exercise program

• Find repetitive Kegel exercises difficult to maintain

An electromagnetic Kegel chair provides an alternative method of activating the targeted pelvic floor muscles through electromagnetic stimulation.

For professional practices, this technology can complement appropriately prescribed pelvic floor muscle training and rehabilitation programs.

COMPLETELY NON-INVASIVE

One of the major advantages of an electromagnetic pelvic floor chair is the simplicity of the client experience.

NO NEED TO UNDRESS

Clients can remain fully clothed during the session.

NO INVASIVE PROBES

The electromagnetic stimulation is delivered externally through the chair.

NO ADHESIVE ELECTRODES

There is no need to place conventional stimulation pads on the treatment area.

NO DOWNTIME

Clients can typically return to normal daily activities immediately after a session, subject to professional assessment and the manufacturer's protocol.

HANDS-FREE SESSION

Once correctly positioned and the appropriate program has been selected, the client remains comfortably seated during operation.

ONE CHAIR – MULTIPLE PROFESSIONAL APPLICATIONS

Depending on the device's licensed indications and professional assessment, the pelvic floor chair may be incorporated into programs involving:

✓ Pelvic Floor Muscle Strengthening

✓ Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation

✓ Kegel Muscle Training

✓ Urinary Incontinence Programs

✓ Bladder Control / Pelvic Floor Programs

✓ Postpartum Pelvic Floor Recovery

✓ Pelvic Floor Muscle Re-Education

✓ Professional Pelvic Health Programs

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is a pelvic floor chair?

A pelvic floor chair is professional equipment designed to stimulate the pelvic floor muscles while the client remains seated. This system uses high-intensity electromagnetic stimulation to generate repeated pelvic floor muscle contractions.

Is this the same as doing Kegel exercises?

Both approaches target pelvic floor muscles, but they work differently. Traditional Kegel exercises require voluntary muscle contraction. An electromagnetic Kegel chair stimulates pelvic floor muscle contractions using electromagnetic energy and may be incorporated into professional pelvic floor training programs.

Can a pelvic floor chair be used for urinary incontinence?

Pelvic floor muscle training is commonly incorporated into management programs for certain types of urinary incontinence. Use of this device for a specific condition must follow the device's Health Canada licensed indications and appropriate professional assessment.

Can it be used for postpartum recovery?

Pelvic floor muscle training may form part of postpartum rehabilitation for appropriate clients. The suitability and timing of treatment following childbirth should be determined by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Do clients need to remove their clothes?

No. Clients can remain fully clothed during operation.

Does the machine use internal probes?

No. Electromagnetic stimulation is delivered externally through the chair and does not require an internal applicator.

Are adhesive electrodes required?

No adhesive stimulation pads are required for operation of the electromagnetic chair.

Is there downtime?

The technology is non-invasive. Clients can generally return to normal activities after a session, subject to individual assessment and the manufacturer's instructions.

Is this professional equipment?

Yes. This model is intended for professional/commercial environments and should be operated according to the manufacturer's instructions, applicable professional requirements and Canadian regulations.
