Comprehensive Warranty & Disclaimer Policy

GREENLIFE is committed to the long-term reliability of your Health Canada certified equipment. Please review the following terms regarding your warranty protection, routine maintenance requirements, and liability disclaimers for professional use.

Title

1. Professional Use Requirement

All GREENLIFE medical aesthetic devices are intended strictly for professional use only and must be operated by trained and qualified personnel in compliance with:

  • Health Canada regulations
  • Provincial regulations
  • Applicable safety and clinical standards

The purchaser is solely responsible for:

  • Proper installation, operation, and maintenance
  • Staff certification and training 
  • Regulatory compliance and lawful usage

GREENLIFE does not provide medical advice. All treatments must be performed based on the professional judgment of licensed practitioners.

2. Limited Warranty

All eligible GREENLIFE Health Canada–approved medical aesthetic devices include the following warranty coverage:

  • Main System Unit: Four (4) Year Limited Warranty
  • Handpieces & Optical Arms (Light Guide Arms): One (1) Year Limited Warranty

(Except for specific products: Dr. Pen is covered by a 1-year warranty only and RED Light Therapy is covered by a 2-year warranty. This warranty does not apply to products without Health Canada approval, second-hand products, open-box items, or final sale products.)

Warranty coverage begins on the date the product is received.

This warranty:

  • Applies only to the original purchaser
  • Is non-transferable unless approved in writing by GREENLIFE
  • Covers manufacturing defects occurring under normal professional use

3. Warranty Coverage

During the applicable warranty period, GREENLIFE may, at its sole discretion:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Repair defective components
  • Replace defective parts or modules
  • Provide software and system support
  • Provide remote or on-site technical service where applicable

Covered Components

Depending on the device type, warranty coverage may include:

  • Main system unit (4-year warranty)
  • Power supply and internal circuitry
  • Cooling system
  • Display and control system
  • Laser generator / laser source
  • Energy delivery modules

Handpieces and optical (light guide) arms are covered by a separate one (1) year limited warranty.

Replacement parts provided during the warranty period will be supplied by GREENLIFE at no charge.

4.  Handpieces & Optical Arms

Handpieces & Optical Arms

  • Covered against manufacturing defects under normal professional use for one (1) year from the date of delivery.
  • Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, improper operation, or unauthorized repair.

Consumable Items

The following consumables are not covered under normal use:

  • Filters
  • Tips
  • Cartridges
  • Lenses / crystals
  • Disposable components

Consumables are covered only if confirmed defective upon delivery (DOA).

5. 10-Year Parts Support

GREENLIFE commits to:

     Providing parts support for up to 10 years

Calculated as:

     From the date of product receipt
     Or from the date the product is received until the product discontinuation date (if it occurs within 10 years).  
 (whichever occurs first)

After warranty expiration:

  • Parts and service will be provided at cost

6. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does NOT cover:

General exclusions

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Consumable depletion
  • Cosmetic damage not affecting function

 Damage caused by:

  • Misuse, improper operation, or negligence
  • Unauthorized repair, modification, ordisassembly, or third-party intervention (Immediately voids the warranty)  
  • Use of non-approved parts or accessories
  • Failure to follow manuals or training
  • Electrical issues (power surge, unstable voltage)
  • Fire, flood, external environmental, or other force majeure events such as natural disasters damage
  • Improper storage or transportation
  • Off-label use or non-approved treatments

7. Warranty Service Process

To initiate warranty service, the customer must provide:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Model and serial number
  • Description of issue
  • Supporting photos / videos / diagnostic data

GREENLIFE reserves the right to:

  • Perform remote troubleshooting
  • Require equipment inspection
  • Approve or deny warranty claims after evaluation

Notes: No service will be provided without prior authorization

8. Repair or Replacement Policy

 If a defect is confirmed, GREENLIFE may:

  • Repair the unit
  • Replace defective parts
  • Replace the unit with equivalent new or refurbished equipment
  • Replacement does NOT reset warranty
  • Warranty continues from original purchase
  • (For defective components removed during replacement, GREENLIFE reserves the right to determine whether they must be returned. If GREENLIFE does not require their return, the purchaser shall handle and dispose of them safely in accordance with applicable waste disposal regulations in the region where the components are located, and GREENLIFE shall not be responsible for any related disposal costs or liabilities.)

9. Shipping Responsibility

Years 1–2 of Warranty

For valid warranty claims occurring within the first two (2) years of the warranty period, GREENLIFE will cover all transportation costs, including shipping or pickup and return of the equipment within Canada.
 

Years 3–4 of Main Unit Warranty

For valid warranty claims occurring during Years 3 and 4 of the main system warranty, the customer is responsible for all shipping and transportation costs associated with sending the equipment to and from GREENLIFE.

 

However, GREENLIFE will continue to provide replacement parts covered under warranty at no charge during the warranty period.

 

After Warranty Expiration

After the applicable warranty period expires, GREENLIFE will continue to offer repair and maintenance services.

Customers will only be responsible for:

  • Technician labor charges
  • Replacement parts at cost
  • Shipping and transportation costs

GREENLIFE remains committed to providing long-term technical support to help maximize the lifespan of your equipment.

Not included:

The following costs are not covered under warranty:

  • Non-warranty repairs
  • Damage caused by customer misuse or negligence
  • International shipping
  • Duties, customs, or brokerage fees
  • Damage caused by improper packaging
  • Additional shipping costs beyond the original delivery address

10. Regulatory Responsibility

The purchaser is responsible for:

  • Health Canada compliance
  • Proper clinical use
  • Operator qualification

 GREENLIFE is NOT responsible for:

  • Regulatory violations
  • Improper use of equipment

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

GREENLIFE liability is limited to: Repair or replacement only

GREENLIFE shall NOT be liable for:

  • Loss of revenue or profit
  • Business interruption
  • Patient or customer claims
  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Treatment results

Maximum liability:

Limited to purchase price of the device

12. Final Warranty Statement

This is the only valid warranty provided by GREENLIFE.

  • No verbal promises are binding
  • No modifications unless in writing

This policy does not affect statutory rights under Canadian law.

13. Policy Updates

GREENLIFE reserves the right to update this policy at any time.
The applicable version is the one in effect at the time of purchase.
